Key Responsibilites 

Mylight150 production is outsourced to  leading manufacturing partners in Asia, and we are committed to delivering high-quality, innovative products. We are seeking a strategic leader to oversee our global procurement and sales & operations planning.  

The VP of Procurement will lead all procurement activities, ensuring the efficient sourcing of components and services critical to production. This role will oversee the supplier base in China, driving cost efficiencies, mitigating risks, and ensuring the timely delivery of quality products.   

You will work closely with cross-functional teams to align procurement with business objectives, including Product, Logistics, and Finance.  

Missions 

1. Contract Negotiation & Management : 

  • Lead negotiations with suppliers to secure favorable terms, pricing and lead times,
  • Oversee the drafting, review and management of supplier contracts, ensuring compliance with company policies and legal requirements,
  • Monitor contract performance and enforce terms to ensure suppliers meet agreed-upon service level.

2. Strategic Sourcing : 

  • Develop and execute a global sourcing strategy balancing cost, quality and lead times,
  • Select suppliers, qualify and negotiate contracts
  • Establish KPIs for supplier quality (defect rates, product reliability, delivery performance...),
  • Develop risk management strategies, including diversification of suppliers, securing alternative sourcing options, and contingency planning to avoid supply disruptions,
  • Promote sustainability and ethical sourcing practices across the supply chain,
  • Work closely with R&D, Operations, and Sales teams to ensure procurement strategies align with product development timelines and business goals,
  • Support new product introductions (NPI) and volume ramp-ups. 

 3. Supplier Management :

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with manufacturing partners,
  • Negotiate contracts, manage performance, and resolve any disputes to ensure high-quality, on-time delivery,
  • Manage supplier performance through audits and continuous improvement,
  • Lead problem resolution and risk management related to supplier quality. 

 4. Cost Management :

  • Implement cost reduction initiatives, leveraging volume purchasing and strong negotiation skills,
  • Conduct total cost analysis and identify opportunities for efficiency improvements throughout the supply chain. 

 5. S&OP Management :

  • Collaborate with the sales team to forecast customer demand and translate it into an actionable supply plan,
  • Oversee the procurement team to ensure that the supply chain is aligned with the demand plan, especially managing lead times,
  • Lead regular S&OP meetings with stakeholders from sales, finance, procurement and operations to align on forecast updates, supply chain constraints, and business priorities,
  • Develop contingency plans for different market or supply chain scenarios,
  • Leverage data analytics to improve forecasting accuracy, optimize resource allocation and drive continuous improvement in the S&OP process. 

 6. Leadership and Team Development :

  • Manage procurement team, ensuring high performance and professional development,
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation and continuous improvement. 

Experiences : Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management or Engineering and 10+ years of experience in procurement or supply chain management. You have an experience working in a fast-paced, scale-up environment with the ability to adapt to changing business needs. 

 Soft skills :  

  • Good communication skills to work effectively with internal stakeholders and external suppliers.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills. 

Skills :  

  • Knowledge of procurement strategies in China.
  • Proven track record in supplier negotiations, contract management, and cost reduction initiatives.
  • Ability to drive procurement strategies that balance cost efficiency with quality and reliability.
  • Strong leadership in building a procurement team capable of supporting rapid growth.
  • Proven track record of delivering results in a complex, global supply chain environment.
  • You are fluent in English. 

Contractual Conditions 

Contract Type : Permanent (CDI)
